Deleting a Book

If you no longer want a book to appear on the site, you can remove it completely. Just be aware that deleting is permanent.

1. Find the book

In the WordPress admin panel, go to Currently Reading in the left-hand menu. You’ll see a list of all books.

You can use the search bar or scroll to find the one you want to delete.

2. Hover and click “Trash”

When you hover over the book title, a few links will appear underneath. Click Trash.

This sends the book to the Trash bin — it won’t appear on the frontend anymore.

Note

If you can’t see any of the options above, you might need to change from “Block” to “Article” in the right-hand sidebar menu.

3. Permanently delete (optional)

To permanently delete:

1. Click Trash at the top of the list view.
2. Hover over the book again.
3. Click Delete Permanently.

This cannot be undone — but it keeps the backend tidy.
